Essentially people buy these for the seating more than anything else, comfort is #1 and the rest are secondary. Anyone really pressed for cargo space can get a roof top or hitch mounted carrier.

That's a sure fire way to reduce the range of an EV that's already less than most rivals. The cabin design of the EQ C is one of its strongest components however.

That's where brand perception comes in and changes the game with range, a Mercedes loyalist won't mind giving up 15% extra range or anyone wanting only what Mercedes can provide.
