Received my EQC Premium Plus today.
A little upset about the lack of Burmeister, AR satnav etc, I was aware of this but only from keeping in touch with such forums, the supplying dealer communicated nothing.

Anyway, only 16 miles in but initial impressions are good.

Has anyone wrapped the chrome around the windows, think it would look much better gloss black?
No but would be really interested to see this done. I don’t mind the chrome so much as it fits with the couple of highlights on the grill and the rear bumper.
Being old school I like a bit of chrome on a car even if it is justbplastic these days 🤣

Congrats on your new EQC @frankow! Welcome to the forum! What are your thoughts of it so far since you picked it up?

To be honest, it's my wife's car, but I chose it!
I still have only driven 16 miles as she has been out with friends today but she loves it. I have been passenger this evening and its a lovely car to be in, I look forward to more time behind the wheel. I have a Polestar 2 and absolutely love that too, Had a BMW i3 for 6yrs prior so been part of the electric scene for a good while.

iam an electric newbie so yourcomparisons between the EQC and yourother cars will be interesting.

Still had very limited time behind the wheel of the EQC but enough to be impressed.
I loved my BMW i3, they really do grow on you, nippy, fun, very economical, great turning circle, pretty much everything but the looks but they did grow on me over the 6yrs.
The Polestar dual motor is a different beast altogether, like the i3 for grown ups (quoting Bev from the Polestar forum!)
The EQC is the best of all worlds rolled into one. Very comfortable, cable and engaging. It has the usual refinements expected with a Mercedes and tech bursting out of every orifice. I'll report back when I have covered more miles (as it's my wifes car) but early impressions are very favourable.

Yes, pics please.
AFTER - Dechromed window trims, dechromed lower skirt chrome strip, dechromed front grill, dechromed door handles and front & rear lower strips. Removed 'EQC 400' lettering from the rear, tinted front windows, tinted all lights and I think that's it, I left the blue EQC on the sides.

We ordered Brilliant Blue but due to Covid, Brexit and the chip shortage (forgive my sarcasm) it was not available so it's Spectral Blue metallic.

What is your build date?

Nov 21, I believe any vehicle built from Sept 21 onwards was affected.

Thanks. I've bought a July 21 build (new, in stock, waiting for it to be delivered) and my contract and build sheet say it has everything. I also thought from September 21 onwards missed a few things, but I saw another user say their July 21 build turned up with a few things missing which surprised me. I rang MB head office and they have assured me that because my car is physically in stock and not a build order that the contract and build sheet will be 100% accurate and everything will be on it. I can tell you, it better be or I'll reject the car - I bought the car based on the options.
