In 2023, augmented reality was only available in the HUD on EQS's. Not the EQE's. I'm not sure if it's the same for 2024 and 2025, however.
I know this, because I looked into it seriously when I ordered my 2023 EQE SUV and was disappointed to find that it was not an option available on EQE's.
On the EQS's, HUD AR is option code 445.
