Hey everyone,
Has any of you EQC owners managed to sync your seat/mirror settings automatically to your MBUX profiles? The manual mentions this. Read on another MB forum that GLC owners were also missing this function, and since the EQC is based on that…

Sorry to reply to such an old thread, but did you ever figure this out? I have a one week old EQC that I'm still figuring out and this is happening to me too.

Unfortunately not. I have come to the conclusion that our cars simply does not have this. I think we have a slightly older version of MBUX or something.

If you have the driver/front passenger seat electrically adjustable with memory function, press M and then 1 (or 2 or 3). When you get in and the seat position is different, press 1. It should adjust it by itself.

I am aware of this. We are talking about a different thing where every setting, including the seats, are synced to your profile. As soon as you get into the car and select your profile the seats should change.

I would have thought for the settings to be recalled via a profile, one should be able to adjust the seat via MBUX. Presently seat adjustment is only through the levers on the door.
This video shows how to setup through MBUX on many Mercedes, and possibly is also therefore a way to check if the equipment is there unless an update has changed this setup feature:

Hi Dgains1, yes please I would like to know how to do this?
What I did is once you make your profile within the app get into to car and make “2 dummy” profiles so you can test your settings. Next open the app and go to profiles and then settings and then make sure both options are on and select “sync profile now”. Once that’s done you should see your phone app profile file. Then you need to go through the “profile setup”. After the setup if things aren’t how you want change the seat, mirrors and steering wheel to where you want everything. Now go back to the app and go to vehicle settings and turn everything on and turn on easy entry and exit to “seat and steering wheel and select save in top right corner. Now go back to the profiles in the car and back to settings and select “sync now” once it’s working you will get a notification “save settings to online profile” select yes then make sure on the phone app in vehicle settings it shows the time at the top you just synced. You should now select one of your “dummy profiles” so that it changes everything to random settings. Once it’s fully switched you then hit your profile to make it go back to the settings you want and it should all be good. Going forward any time you change something (seat, mirrors etc) make sure to sync your profile. Feel free to reach out if you need anymore assistance.

I have the same problem, it just came back from Mercedes today.

My EQC does not sync my seat/mirror settings automatically to my MBUX profiles. I can set only via the manuals buttons on door.

Mercedes are saying even though MBUX shows this option it doesn't work as a batch of EQC were made during covid and missing a part, they are writing to Mercedes HQ so I will need to wait to see what they end up saying if my EQC was in that batch.

I did say I was not informed of this lack of functionality when I bought my car, and my previous car GLE 400 worked perfectly well on MBUX and manual buttons.

So let's wait and see batch manufacture and if part missing.

If anyone has a suggestion to try fix, I will try what is suggested above please do let this message thread know

Thank you

Please keep us updated on what Mercedes say about the batch - and if it is possible to install post production.

That’s the least they can offer when removing such a useful everyday feature.

Thanks!

So no update yet still. Last I got was "Mercedes-Benz product specialists have come back to me and acknowledged my email reference your vehicle", so still waiting for their product specialist to reply back to dealer.

Still waiting.... :-(

Thanks

My local dealer and Mercedes UK helpline both say that this is not available. If you search "Profile content" in EQC owner's manual, "driver's seat memory" is NOT listed. If you go to a higher model like E-class, it is listed. What is worse is that on my old E-class, I could press the button once and let go for seat adjustment. With EQC you need to hold down the button until it moves all the way through. What a shame Mercedes!
