I can't wait to see Mercedes' new prototype of the battery charger. In my opinion, this feature is a huge game changer for EV car market. There is only one question about this charger, how efficient is it? Will it take 4 or 24 hours to fully charge the battery of the car? What do you guys think?

Those chargers are not efficient and there's around 12% loss with wireless charging systems. From what I can recall of my old physics classes, induction only works with very close margins. Really not that hard to simply plug in.

One thing for sure is that our odds of fast charging will be best with the OEM charger and not an aftermarket brand, so when malls, starbucks, gas stations, etc. start to include these in parking spots, you will be spending more time.
