Thanks for updating one of those simple software updates then not an update to add any functionality🙄 as I understand it those cars with 7.4kw on board chargers would need a hardware upgrade not software to go to the current 11kw standard.The update was done last week.

Do you have a 3phase supply to your charger? Cause if you have, you will not notice any difference. I had a service done on my GLE hybrid and to my surprise, the charging rate dropped from 7.4 to 3.7 on my return home. First time since I bought the car last year. I have a single phase supplying my home charger btw. I raised it with MB and waiting to see what they are going to come back with ..The update was done last week.

That's very strange. I don't have a GLE hybrid, but all the specs I can find on it here say the onboard charger can do 7.4kW with 3-phase and 3.7kW with single phase.I had a service done on my GLE hybrid and to my surprise, the charging rate dropped from 7.4 to 3.7 on my return home.
My guess would be they've improved the way they detect a 3-phase supply.
