I believe it is likely down to factors such as your driving style and efficiency.
Same as in an ICE vehicle, if you have a heavy foot, the estimated range drops.

What bugs me, is I still get around 200 range with 230ish additional, but turning everything off, screen, A/C, Audio etc, I only gain another 10 or so miles. I can never seem to get the 'maximum'.

Thank you for your reply, yes seems i have to adjust my driving style.
I think that MB should give customers more info on driving EV rather than finding out as you go along :)

Hi John L, I have had my EQC for just over a year now (11,000 miles) and have developed a driving style that seems to get reasonably good efficiency. I alway drive in ECO mode, with regeneration set to D+. I use the different regeneration modes using the 'happy paddles' to control the cars speed. You do need to look further down the road to plan ahead. I only using the brakes as a last resort and to hold the car stationary. I don't have the aircon on, or heater. I have the fan set to 2 or 3 with Auto off. I check tyre pressure independently sonf don't carry any unnecessary loads in the car. With this set up I regularly get 2.7 m/kWh (225miles ish) on a long motorway run from say Bristol to London, and 3.2 m/kWh ( 250 ish) around town with lots of traffic ( stop start). The best I have had for a short run was 4.1m/kWh ( a lot of down hills) I hope this helps.

Thank you so much for your reply. It’s actually my wife whip drives the car the most and i believe she must be related to Lewis Hamilton!! I’m hoping that eventually the excitement of driving such a quick car will wear off…here’s hoping :)
thanks again

You could remind your wife that 'driving like you stole it' will soon wear the tyres. They don't last long and are expensive to replace. You can see comments from others on the forum. But enjoy your car and take care
