I have only managed to find a previous comment on this from last year, but I am yet to have a response from the person posting. I’ve had my EQC 400 AMG Line Premium for 3 weeks now and I have noticed a noise that is coming from the steering wheel / dashboard region when driving on uneven terrain. I have attached a video of the rattle/croak and wondered if anyone else has had a similar issue. I’ve checked for any trim that is loose or rubbing against each other and can’t see anything.
It’s a really annoying sound that I have to turn my music up for, and I don’t wish to have to do that forever.

I don't experience that ever, including over rough terrain. I don't think that's normal or acceptable. It sounds like ET trying to phone home or something. Mercedes need to fix this for you.

I have a rattle that sounds similar, seems to come from the right hand side of the dashboard, the side which faces the drivers door, if i hold it, it stops.

Maybe a hammer will help.....
