Did anyone notice the new Mercedes A-class 2023 (UK) uses a full (almost) screen Apple CarPlay?

I really wish this comes as a MBUX software update to all of the existing EQA/B series of cars as they use the same screen dimension? Anyone know these sort of things really happen in the world of Mercedes-Benz - I am a new EQA 250+ (early 2023) buyer.

Thanks all, I am new to this forum as well.

P.S. You can watch the YouTube video here which shows the CarPlay in action (at 6:09):

Yeah this is a downside of the NTG6 Version of MBUX where as new EQA has NTG7 MBUX version.
I don't think the new EQA even for the lower spec cars get the option for the smaller display area like they do with the NTG6 Version. I think Mercedes developers were lazy and didn't want to code for the 2 different screen sizes so Apple Car Play will only be sized for the smaller screen size. (assume its the same for Android) You would think it wouldn't take much to modify the code and do an over the air update but I wouldn't hold my breath for it to change

Pacman-BNE-NL I know right! I will be sad if this never makes it to the NTG6 version :/ What's the point of having the software update at all apart from map updates of course?

Does anyone know how big of software update a generation of MBUX gets or has got in the past?

People here have been asking for it with a petition as well!: Signez la pétition
