Is the difference between the EQA300 and the EQA350 only a software one and if so can the software on the 300 be upgraded to make it a 350?

I suspect the 350 motor hardware has performance-oriented tweaks which might explain why its WLTP rating is slightly lower, though it's the one I would still choose
