Regarding the procedure to disconnect, best talk to a EQ tech to avoid malfunction or worse - be interesting what advice they can give. I know someone who had a Prius with a flat 12v battery from being left at an airport and they tried to charge it themselves but ended up permanently and expensively damaging an inverter or other proprietary component. Also , vaguely speaking, on EQC the 12v might be needed for unfamiliar functions like to monitor cooling the high voltage battery after a drive or some other important function - not sure - but it may even power almost everything, including complex electronic control units, except power to the wheels and aircon:
If electric vehicles (EVs) use high-voltage lithium-ion batteries, why do they still carry a 12-volt lead acid battery? Read more at straitstimes.com.

If the high voltage battery is recharging the 12 V after the car hasn't been used for weeks then that might theoretically be another problem with disconnecting with the wrong procedure I wonder
