Hi All,

I am looking at moving to an EV for my next car and looking at the EQC.
My one concern is I have a 144mile round trip twice a week and I am concerned the car may struggle in winter. Do you think this will be an issue?

Hi Chris, l've had my EQC for 3 mths now and the range is a bit of a mystery. It has never given me 200 miles at 100% charge. The most l get out of it is 180 miles (see attached screenshot). I have also started having technical issues, no navigation, no traffic sign assist, the system start and shutdown several times before it comes back fully on. When its doing that you can still drive but without the other display, but you cant change driving modes or make use of front sensors. I am getting it checked over this friday but had to wait for almost a month for the appointment. Maybe you will be lucky and get one that works well.

Thanks for your reply. I hope you get the technical issues sorted. I am torn between the EQC and BMW iX3. I will take the EQC for a test drive after 12th April before making a decision. Thanks Chris

Hi, I’ve had my EQC for six months and did some longer commutes during the snow / icy winters weather. My range dropped to 160 miles but if you per condition your car before you depart / take it off charge then you’ll see 175 miles. Now that it’s warmer I’m averaging 195 to 200 miles on a charge.
