I’ve had a 2021 EQC AMG Line for just over a week and I’ve covered 700 miles. The Speedo Display Screen behind the steering wheel is now blank / black / off while I am driving. The MBUX touch screen is fine so I can see sat nav, radio and all the other functions. I just cannot see the speedometer display. Is there a fix for this? It’s disappointing that an electric car already has an electrical fault.

That’s disappointing, I’ve had mine for a similar duration, fortunately without issue so far.
Do post if you manage to discover a fix or end up needing to take to a MB dealership.
Assuming the touch controls are unresponsive (or at least you can’t see if they’re responding) have you tried asking Hey Mercedes to alter the layout? Unlikely as it probably is, it might cause a reboot 🤷‍♂️

Hi, I had the same on my car after just 2 weeks of use. I returned to the dealership and they did a full software update which took 23 hrs. Since then no problems with the screen going blank. This should have been done as part of the PDI, so a bit disappointed. Good luck

Never had a problem with the drive screen on either the e class or EQC looks like a dealer visit sadly. Only simple tip would be to turn off the mbux using the button in the centre consol, leave the car and lock it. Return and if MBUX does not switch on automatically turn it on. It could be the screen or it could be a micro switch or sensor telling the system to start up when the door opens. Also check mercedes me are there anymessages there registering the malfunction?
Such a disappointment when the new car goes wrong so early and especially one as expensive as the EQC is.

Sometimes it's a stock issue, which doesn't get connected to the star computer for updates, since it sits in transit.
