We have an eqs for 13 months and loved it. After 11 months the car needed a software update. After the software update many features didn’t work anymore. Mainly we lost 50% of our battery capacity. The garage is working now for 2 months on the car but still no solution. They do call us every day but the issue seems to be really big. Is there somebody else who faced this problem because we are really tired of waiting and thinking is this car or technology really ready ?

Hasan EQC over a year no issues so am sure the technology is fine. What do you mean by you lost 50% pf your battery capacity?
First we had problems with the big screen shutting down(flashing), then several systems shut down such as auto drive. Then we got a turtle on our screen. We could drive before 700km, this range has reduced until 300km. All this started after a software update performed by an official Mercedes garage.

Sounds very much as if there is either a software problem or the computer is having issues bit like the microsoft blue screen of death. Not fun to experience keep us updated. Essentially cars whether ICE or BEV are at the mercy of the computers that run them these days.

I’ve had mine since May, 10,000 miles, and never had a single software upgrade. I owned are you three Tesla Model Ss 2018-2022 and averaged 3 OTA upgrades per month. Clearly there have been improvements in my car since delivery and I asked my dealer just two days ago why there has never been an upgrade. He explained that Mercedes really has not figured out the process yet and that software upgrades often cause more problems (like yours) and often causes existing function problems. He said unless there is a software upgrade that address a specific problem known to the vehicle, Stutgart will not authorize an upgrade.
