EQS Sedan Hazard Light Switch

Is anyone else frustrated by how easy it is to inadvertently press the Hazard Warning light switch on the front of the console? During a 90 minute trip I found the hazard lights flashing at least 3 times. The resultant sound is very faint and only when I glance at the instrument cluster do I see the flashing lights. Is there a cover for the switch button to keep this from happening?

Very much so .... the wife has a habit of hanging her arm over the middle console and several times this has happened.

At the weekend she drove me down to London and boom .... I did exactly the same a few times. It looks to be in a logical position but in reality it gets in the way of using the car comfortably.

Put it in the 'Improvements' thread .... is a solid suggestion.
The next gen E class (ICE)'s "Superscreen" has the hazard switch under the screen rather than in the centre console, and I think that's a better position.
