Hi,
Took delivery of my EQC in Mojave Silver Metallic last week. Very happy with it so far, just a little annoyed by the glare/reflection of the silver mesh on the dash in the window. Picked the non AMG variant as some options that I wanted was not compatible with the AMG pack.

Congratulations, mine is due at the end of June. Did you have a wallbox installed by mercedes? Did it come with a cable? It is interesting how all the countries are so different in the trim levels. Here in France we can only get the AMG line and add up to a premium plus pack and the only stand alone options are the running board, or a towbar and the heated wash wipe! Just out of interest too was it delivered fully charged at 100%

Interesting, I didn't know there's such a big difference in packages and choices between EU countries...
I'll install a box named Easee which is the one everyone I've asked has chosen. There was two cables, one 220V regular wall socket and one standard charging box cable. I think it was almost 95% when I picked it up.

What other vehicles were you looking before deciding to get the EQC?

In the end it was either the BMW X3 hybrid, e-tron or the EQC. They're all great but in the end it was the limited electric range for the BMW and the high pitched sound from electric motors during acceleration in the e-tron that was there bigest shortcomings. And the EQC got me on its very silent and smooth ride.

Most people seem to say the EQC is one of the quietest out there. As I am in a long term relationship with Mercedes so to speak - I lease - I did not test drive any others but I have seen the e tron and it‘s design does not really appeal albeit the EQC is not really that attractive. But it has some merit looking rather like my current e class estate has run into a wall and become shorter and taller as a result I found the Audi too angular with a few jarring lines on it. I also like the MB interiors more. We will be getting a newmotion box apparently but it is not clear if it will have a captive cable or not. We shall find out in due course.
