I see that here in the UK they have opened up some of the sites for non-tesla cars. You will note I have said some.

When this came up recently, I thought they would be making them available on sites that were near motorway services for obvious reasons, but this does not appear to be the case because there are some available near Banbury in Oxfordshire just a short distance from the M40 near McDonald's, but the very large site near the Park and ride just off the A34 south of Oxford have not been made available. I can only presume this is because the Oxford A34 Park and Ride Rapid chargers are plentiful for non-Tesla cars.
I have a Tesla Power wall 2 battery in my house and hence I have the app. This is handy because all I have to do is put my credit card details into the app and I can use the facility if I need to.
I have the Electric Juice card (Octopus Electroverse) that is handy for many chargers. This is handy if you are with Octopus as your main provider. I have not used it yet, but it appears you will get 5% off providers such as Ionity.
Naturally, I have the Mercedes me card and have used it 3 times to do a splash and dash when traveling around.

Having to use their app to start and stop the charge puts me off alla bit of a hassle. I rarely use public charging but Ionity works well for me though I had to try 3 different stalls the other day to get one to start charging. Here in France only some of the Tesla network is available so that also tends to mean it is not incl in planning and of course using electric intelligence in the navigation system with the Mercedes me charge filter excels Tesla automatically.
On the 30th of December 2022, I went to the Ionity site just off the A1 near Peterborough and hooked up and it did not work. I rang the Ionity number stated on the side of the charger and the lady could not get it to work for me although it was working for the car that had just left. The lady was very helpful and advised that the charger next to me was just finishing and told me to go to it. We hooked up and it worked fine. The nice thing is that I was never charged for that session. About £6 I think it was.
I do the majority of my charging at home near Witney in the UK and have only used an Ionity charger 3 times since signing up for the 1 year (no subscription offer). One of these was on the M25 (Chobham?) before the M23 when going to Gatport Airwick :D, because it meant I was able to go directly home without charging after landing back in the UK late at night.

It is nice that Tesla Superchargers are now compatible with other EV cars.
BUT I will never use a SUPERCHANGE on my EV car, not good heath for the battery.
Please explain why you make this statement. The car's battery management will look after its health, so not an issue .
