I took delivery of a new EQB 300 4MATIC AMG Line Premium in Cosmos Black on 5th September 2022. I purchased it from Inchcape Mercedes Benz Kidlington Oxford. I have had many cars since 1963 with many recent ones being BMWs. I traded in a 2-year-old 2020 BMW X1 LCI 2.0 MSport that I found had too much tyre noise when cruising at 70 mph on motorways. The main culprit for the noise was the combination of granite chipping surfaces and Continental ECO 6 tyres that made driving the BMW a chore. Before purchasing a took the EQA and the EQB on long test runs along the Witney Bypass and although they like other cars and to be expected, produced some tyre roar at high speed, but the noise was nothing like the noise emanating from the BMW X1. My wife and I can now talk to each at cruising speed and even listen to the radio.
Overall this new EQB is pleasant and relaxing to drive

We just took delivery of our EQB 300 in Rose Gold here in Honolulu, Hawaii on September 19, 2022. It is a beautiful vehicle and like you said it is a very quiet ride. My wife had a Porsche Macan before this and she also previously had a BMW X1. She prefers the smaller SUVs and this EQB is much nicer than her Porsche but it is pricey. We are now in the steep learning curve as this is our first ev and hope some of our questions can be answered in the forum. Enjoy you Mercedes!
