Hi, took delivery of my EQA AMG line on Monday this week and only used it for school runs until yesterday when I drove from Farnham, Surrey, UK where we live to Southampton, UK (about an hour). I did the whole drive in D-Auto, Comfort dynamic mode and used Cruise control where it made sense. The drive of the car felt good, although it will take some time to get used to the quiet of an electric ( I just sold off my C-Class AMG Diesel).

The only unpleasantness was the charging station experience, as it's really difficult to know which networks are on the Mercedes me charge and which aren't? Any way to tell which are?

Congratulations on picking up your EQA @lawranusi! Welcome to the forum! I did a quick search and it seems that BP chargemaster are the main partners with Mercedes for charging. How does your EQA AMG compare to your C Class?

You can in the settings of car MBUX and Mercedes Me App (click on bottom right icon Triangle, map page, click on top right Settings, scroll down to bottom Navigation with Electric Intelligence, at the bottom is Mercedes Me Charge, click Enable all chargers will indicate now accept payment via MBUX, Mecedes Me App or Mercedes Me Charge Card, and can verify if you select charge point to see Details of Charge point and how to pay, to be honest it is hit and miss, MBUX states failed Authentication process with charger, then Mercedes Me App or Mercedes Me Charge will work !!! pot luck. choose only Mercedes Me Charge points or All Charge Points, whilst using Mercedes Me Charge Points, individual charge points of one station if it consists of multiple chargers will indicate on the charge point by a blue Upwards Pointing Arrow indicating the power of the charger more arrows shown higher charge point, normally one arrow for 7.4kW or lower and more than 2 Arrows indicate Fast Charger 50 kW plus... Instavolt Network charge points works fine with my Mercedes Me Charge Card in MY EQA Prem Plus, but fails with MBUX somehow to authenticate process... told the dealership, not interested stating it lies with Mercedes Me Charge support, same answer from Mercedes Me App support
Mercedes Me Charge are responsible to inform Mercedes HQ of information regarding charging failures throughout Europe from my emails.. Have to say early adopters will suffer glitches, bad software, firmware (MBUX) car, and technical issues. Hope this helps.

Hi Everyone - Pickedup my New EQC here in Sydney yesterday. Slowly getting to know the new EQ :) Had an E200 earlier and now this one. Not sure but does anyone know of the semi-autonomous driving feature. I used to have it in the E-Class. Car would self-drive and also regulate speed and do lane changes, when I did indication :)
The EQC has partial semi autonomous driving when you use D auto. It uses the navigation and on board cameras to slow for junctions , roundabouts ( do you have them in aus?) and change in speed restrictions. To have the same autonomous driving as the e class (I changed to an EQC from a E220d 4matic estate) you need the driving assist package. Sadly due to new rules UN 79 mercedes has disabled the lane change function and also the parallel park assist albeit the nose on rear in park assist is working. Great debates on here if you search on that issue. I have found the distronic (slowing and restarting on the motorway) system better in the EQC than the E which itself was much better than the 2015 c class I had so mercedes are teweaking it all the time. If you are unsure whether your car has the driving assist package do a datacard search and that will show what the car has, just search mbdatacard and input your VIN no which is now shown in the mercedes me app. I assume Aus cars are the same as european!
