do any of you use this?
You will not be surprised to know that here in France it has been changed from Hey Mercedes to Bonjour Mercedes! I am fluent in french but do have an anglais accent which the system seems to struggle with. I have found a table of instructions some of which seem a bit bizzare but some of which I can get the car to respond to. Not sure it really appeals to me Alexa for example is not something I am interested in but any thoughts and tips would be welcome.
I know it uses AI to learn your voice and pity any future native french speaker if the car is tuned to an anglais🤣

I've used it a few times to avoid having to work my way through all the menu systems which I've yet to learn (second day of ownership). I don't normally like voice systems, but I think this one may grow on me.

Well any tips would be useful. I gave up it is undoubtedly related to my accent😢 I am also not a great voice assistant user not even using Siri so maybe I am approaching it all wrong causing even more to be lost in translation🤣

I'm probably not the best person to give advice as I'm only a few days into ownership. I believe it learns over time and initially it doesn't seem completely consistent in what it can do; for example, I asked it to navigate to my home address (saying what that address was in full) and it understood everything and worked perfectly. A couple of days later, I confused it by asking to turn climate control on! :)

I also am not a big fan of voice control, but have been using 'Hey Mercedes' a couple for times. Particularly useful being able to dictate a text message with 'Hey Mercedes, send message to xxxxx', Mercedes then asked to dictate the message. Also making a phone call by Hey Mercedes call xxxx. A lot better than fiddling around with touch screen whilst driving.

I discovered the button on the left for making the phone call, push up and the contacts appear use the touchpad on the steering wheel to select the contact and another push up and it dials. But I agree just talking the i structions it is still better.
