Hi All

I wonder if someone could do me a favour? I’m looking for a photo of a) what the retaining clips on your jacking point cover look like (showing the entirety of the clip i.e. off the car) and b) what the yellow attachment piece that it goes into in your car also looks like?
None of the clips are present on my car and the parts I’ve ordered from Mercedes don’t want to fit……

I ordered this part myself as it went missing in front right for unknown reason. Part number was A0009917400 (COVER CLIP)

To fit it I guessed to put the piece in with the visible line vertical, as looking at it from the side of the car, then twist 90 degrees so that the line looks horizontal. The cover needs to be well in so that the retaining clip reaches its lock else it will fall out

Merc dealer fitted replacement clips today, apparently a couple of the yellow attachment points under the covers were bent which meant the clips couldn’t reach far enough into the body to secure themselves. Many thanks to Dar for those really helpful pictures
