Most recent cars that I have had, not Mercedes I should add, have been able to accept a USB that contained a mix of my own mp3 files. Is this possible on the EQC late 2021 model? To be honest I can't even find a standard USB socket able to take a standard USB stick. Failing that, other than having my own music on a mobile phone what are the options, if any? Thanks, as always, for your experience.

Hi, the EQC has, what is becoming normal in most new cars a USB-C socket. It is possible to buy USB-C memory sticks and also adaptors from an on-line outlet named after a rain forest. There are several outlets in the EQC, including in the armrest storage unit. Good luck.
Hi Clint

I guess that I couldn't see the wood for the trees, but I've settled on an iPod thing, in the end, costing much the same as one of the 'new' USB-C sticks. Thanks for the reply.
Hi Peter, Good luck. iPods are a great device and can hold so much music. I hope you enjoy your EQC, I have had mine since last September and it still make me smile when I'm driving it.
My EQC came with an old style USB to USB-C adaptor cable 😉
Not only will it play music off a USB stick, it'll play videos off a USB stick - although the video goes blank once you start moving and you just get the audio.
Must say, that it's rather good.

I have problems playing video, is there a special format or is te EQA au version incapable of playing video?
