They are trying to see if it has traction. If you have already purchased a Mercedes that has aplomb HP, NM, Range, and Torque…what would it matter to shave up to a sec off your 0-60 or 1/4 mile trap?

if you want a Mercedes for the track then purchase the AMG versions where unlocking more May make sense.

If Mercedes is unlocking more range from the remainder packs that is not directly being used for vehicle performance then it would be a great idea but the increase range would have to be significant.
