I can say in real life my EQS responds quite well to sudden emerging traffic albeit in the city at lower speeds (50kmph). I have had to swerve twice now to avoid insane drivers pulling out in front of me here in Hungary. The car handled beautifully and better than I would have hoped even for such a large mass. The brakes are less powerful at the pedal but the automatic braking is very powerful. For me, in Budapest driving along a largish city street with unmarked lanes with lots of cars parked badly along the sides, and the EQS for some reason didn't like the cars parked on the shoulders and jutting slightly into the lane. This is a street with truck and bus traffic as well and fairly busy. It is designed to be a two-lane road but in reality, it is a 1.5 lane road. The EQS suddenly stopped without warning when approaching the cars parked badly on the street. In fact, it is actually difficult to convince the EQS to drive around them. I see this as a feature and not a bug. I wonder if the brake lights turn on when it automatically brakes like that? The car stops suddenly but not so sudden as to jar the driver or passengers but it is alarming nonetheless. Hungarians are really bad drivers and are extremely aggressive, especially in situations like this, and just swerve willy-nilly avoiding the parked cars like they are non-existent. Personally, I hate driving in Budapest for just this reason as all the bad drivers in the world seem to have conglomerated there. However, the EQS makes this a safer trip when we must go there. I know I am loathed here as I drive the speed limit, keep a safe distance and I use my turn signals all of which are not normal here.
