Mercedes me app can't connect

My Mercedes me app has generally worked fine for the last year of ownership, but over the last few weeks it's gradually been getting worse at connecting and now it won't at all.

I've tried the 'offload app' fix on my iPhone, made no difference; I've done a full delete and reinstall, made no difference. I've tried connecting with both the car and my phone having full signal strength......can't connect. I've checked the car's setting via the MBUX menu and everything that looks applicable appears to be switched on.

Anyone else had the same and managed to resolve it?

I'm having the exact same problem. Everything was working fine until a week ago. Mercedes me app will no longer connect using my mobile data unless I'm at home using WiFi. Tried deleting the Mercedes me app and reinstalling but still not working. My network provider is O2 so now wondering if they might have changed some data settings

I’ve noticed it works if you use VPN.

The Fault appears to be with the O2
Mercedes have acknowledge the fault let’s hope there is a solution soon

Great info and that holds true for me too, as it works fine on WiFi at home but not on O2 mobile data (even though it's enabled for the app). I tried with and without VPN and it made no difference, but I'll try again.

Which VPN are you using?

I tried again and the app fails almost immediately using the Apple VPN, but it lasts about a minute using the BitDefender VPN. Still failed in the end, though.
My app has been working fine on 4G/5G today........anyone else on O2 finding the same?
Same issue for me! Anyone found a solution? Or have Mercedes/O2 done something about this?
Same issue on Giff Gaff which uses 02, anyone heard from Mercedes about an update?
I've not heard anything about it at all, but it's not consistent. I've just gone a few weeks with no connection over 4G/5G until this morning, when all of a sudden it's fine again with my car and phone in exactly the same places where they've not connected for weeks. 🤷‍♂️

Hello Guys,
I have the same problem that the app is not working even on 4G or wifi. It won't work and connected with the car.
And it shows false informations from the car.

The car is locked and alll of the doors are closed but it shows that the left front door is open and the window.
Also my account is not showing on the MBUX screen on the car.
