This guy is really good at making very technical things easier to understand. I'm used to seeing him on technical tire videos (sponsored by Hankook).
My summary take-away is: follow these three rules of thumb regularly when convenient to get the most out of your battery over the life of the car. Otherwise, don't stress about it -- the battery will probably provide adequate performance long enough even if these rules of thumb are not religiously adhered to.
