Hello all,
I'm considering buying a used 2011 Mercedes Benz E63 with a 6.2L V8 DOHC 32V engine and a salvage title. The asking price is 11,500$. I'm wondering if I should purchase this car or not.

I've done some digging around and it seems like the car is in decent condition. It has a clean interior and has been well-maintained. The mileage is low and the price is reasonable when compared to other models of the same year.

I'm not sure if I should purchase this car or not. I'm a little concerned about the salvage title and I'm worried that there may be hidden costs or potential issues that I haven't considered. I've heard that it's possible to get a great deal on a salvage title car, but I'm not sure if this is one of those cases.

What do you all think? Should I buy this car or not? I'm open to any and all advice. Thanks in advance for your help!

Perhaps you were meaning to post this in a different thread than one for EQ (Electric Vehicles)?
Also on another forum as this one is for EVs

I would not go near that car. The engine compartment does not look well maintained to me. Repairing the front end on that E63 will probably cost more than the premium you would have to pay for the other comparable cars you looked at.
