Thanks. Unfortunate product planning decision. Usage of seat back releases in an SUV likely a higher frequency than need for power outlet. Actually, both could have been packaged running off the same hot lead.

A long reach or a walkaround. Once released, are they spring loaded to flatten the seatback without having to move it manually? My 2018 3 Series has cargo area releases and also enough spring tension to completely flatten while I'm loading at the rear. These are the releases.

Definitely a long reach - not a practical method. They pop out and easily move forward but it's not something that springs down/flat when released.A long reach or a walkaround. Wow...that opens up another issue. There is no power outlet at the front console to receive the conventional barrel plug shape?I don't disagree but the more I thought about it, it's likely for the emergency air pump for the flat tire kit and it's the only outlet that I know of.
I just looked... I couldn't find one. There are 4 USB-C's plus 2 in the back but I couldn't find a barrel plug and I put my hand in some weird positions trying to find one.Wow...that opens up another issue. There is no power outlet at the front console to receive the conventional barrel plug shape?
I'm ok with that for my phone, but wonder if Valentine makes a USB cord to replace the conventional plug for my Valentine One...more research ahead! Thanks for checking!I just looked... For the EQS SUV, there is another 12v plug in front below the glove box in passenger footwell and there is a flap covering it. Most likely there is a similar one in EQE SUV, you can check if there is one there.I just looked... I couldn't find one. Brochure?! Really? My dealer here has absolutely no brochures in the showroom. When I asked if one was available for mailing to me, they said no. Online only. That was in November. Perhaps things have changed. But the fact remains that I did not see any paper in their showroom. Even for the Maybach or AMG's on display. Mind-boggling considering the size of investment and average age of the segment to which they are marketing. My garage have been in contact to say they have an EQE SUV on order expected build June and delivery in the summer🤷♀️ inviting me to look at the brochure and specs and to come in and look at the EQE saloon to get an idea on the EQE interior feel etc and have a preliminary chat. We will be doing so and it feels as if Mercedes are seeking out the sale which is good news for me. My EQC will be a good trade in for them to use in the secondhand market as I have looked after the battery. It was built before the major despeccing too so apart from augmented reality everything else is there unlike later builds.
Possibly for 12v portable cooler or refrigerator.I don't disagree but the more I thought about it, it's likely for the emergency air pump for the flat tire kit and it's the only outlet that I know of.
Here's a YT video of the reviewer putting in luggage. Go to 4:45.This is my exact concern. Can a tall suitcase fit straight in lengthwise? Can 2 tall suitcases be stacked and the hatch still close?
@PTVMan - I am familiar with pretty much every pic of the cargo area posted online hehe. Its difficult to judge actual size from the pics though. We have measurements of the cargo floor area on another forum, but don't have an idea of how that roofline slope comes into play when holding anything large.
I am in Canada, no units here yet, I live near the border and have been in touch with a stateside dealer. Will be driving down to check one out (and taking some empty suitcases with me) whenever they get a unit in.
Thank you!
No not a paper one just an electronic one😉agree when you go into the showrooms these days there are never any brochures about!Brochure?! Really? Thanks for finding and sharing this. He seems quite pleased and surprised that it holds two carry-ons and a backpack. I think I'll bring some full size luggage with me to the dealership when the first test-drive vehicles are available in our location. Here's a YT video of the reviewer putting in luggage. Go to 4:45.
I couldn't even find an online brochure for the EQE SUV.No not a paper one just an electronic one😉agree when you go into the showrooms these days there are never any brochures about!
I believe they have stopped making those pdf "digital brochure" since last year.I couldn't even find an online brochure for the EQE SUV.
MBUSA Marketing seems quite behind. Cars are being delivered but the Build function isn’t working yet on the website.I couldn't even find an online brochure for the EQE SUV.
you can find the PDF brochure on the UK website (EQE SUV | Mercedes EQ)I believe they have stopped making those pdf "digital brochure" since last year.
They probably consider their web page/web site as the "brochure".
Interesting that the brochure is clearly for the UK market, but that the photos show the steering wheel on the left.
