Congratulations on getting your EQC @sevoflurane and welcome to the forum! What convinced you to switch from a plug-in hybrid to a full EV?

Do you have any photos of your EQC you can share? What spec is it?
No decent photos as yet. AMG line spec in Mojave Silver. I’d had the PHEV 3 years and bought it at the end of the PCP, but Mitsubishi aren’t importing new models any more and I wasn’t confident that getting it serviced would be that easy. I’ve already read reports of much longer waits for parts.

The EQC is the first car I have leased via the work lease car scheme, so a BEV was always going to be preferable for tax reasons. After looking at the eTron, iPace and EQC, I preferred the EQC and it was on offer at the time I ordered.

So far, so good. Having been doing my work commute in EV mode with the PHEV for years (which has adjustable regen braking via paddles like the EQC) it feels pretty familiar.

I’d been thinking I might pay the £299 for additional smart phone functionality, as I am used to CarPlay, but the standard SatNav and phone interface via USB seems okay, so I am wait and see.

May I ask...when did you order your EQC? Ordered mine October 2021 and still waiting. Car was built in March 2022 'awaiting parts' since....shocking
Ordered late Jan 2022, initially with a EDD of May. I ordered via the NHS lease car scheme. The EQC was on offer at the time, which colleagues tell me means they already have ordered or been allocated a quota of cars, which may explain the faster delivery time.
