I’m new to Mercedes but a long time Automobile enthusiast, with better knowledge on the EV side.

My EQE is a 970 starling Blue in Biscaya/Neva interiors with 20 inch wheels on Exclusive trim with 401,P53, PAF, 444 and rather unfortunately with Winter pkg.

I’m get to configure OBD to get battery Voltages working but have some in-depth info on rest of the vehicle.

At least in my experience buying the car has been an absolute awful experience with the blame squarely on Mercedes and Dealership (mis)management. Trying to get MBUSA to hear what we are facing on the ground.

If you are looking for info about the EQE sedan, I would be rather happy to give you an accurate one rather than what you might find out there.

This is awesome. Good to see some traction on this board. EQE forums have been very very quiet, though admittedly the car has only been available in the US for a few months.

What do you find unfortunate about the Winter package?

Dealer-wise, I've found most to be rather ambivalent in the NJ/NY region. I have an order in for a 500 and the sales guy is pretty uncommunicative. I think some of that is because Mercedes' custom order process is probably the least customer-friendly of any I've done and having an uncommunicative dealer contact makes it worse.

Nice color combo BTW, it's what I originally wanted but neither Starling nor Twilight blue was available when it came time to put my order in.

Yea I was surprised we didn’t see more traction and communication about a new product then I saw how MB work and I’m not surprised. This almost makes me want to start a YouTube channel or something to get more info.

I’m in California and Heated windscreens and heated nozzle does nothing but limit where can I have my toll pass and take almost 2 Grand out with a expensive windscreen.

Dealer has been similar here, Had been following up with them monthly since June 21 and they were nice enough not to mention a word until I found they posted vehicles on their website. Called up placed a 1000$ deposit and zip nada communication for the next 5 months until the car was on the lot and I was told I have 48 hours to get all finance or it would go to the next person, Just a premium experience there.

NJ is quite cool not sales tax and 4 Grand for ones under 45. Wish we had something here.

Right after day zero of ordering Starling blue and Twlight were out. Looks like netstar updates coincided with the launch (or so the dealers claim) really didn’t want the star Pattern grill so I guess this is the closest I’m gonna get. If you don’t mind me asking What’s you’d build?

Oops, didn't even think about the replacement costs!

I went with an Alpine Grey 500 with Biscaya Blue, Pinnacle trim, Winter package, Multicontour seats. The Biscaya Blue interior was what caught my eye first so I wouldn't budge on it but it's been hard to find on the lot on the east coast.

That dealer behavior sounds like what I'd expect for a high demand special edition car or at least something with low availability like the BMW i4 M50s have been.

The sales tax exemption is a big one, especially at these MSRPs. EVs also get exempt from annual inspections.

Nice choice of interiors! I do share how the multi-contour seats are when you get a chance.

At least out here on the west coast EQE and EQE AMG are plentiful you should be able to find your exact spec as a 500 just in the SoCal area.

I had a great dealer experience in Northern California - my sales rep was in constant contact for past 6 months - ordered one and then a very similar EQE 4Matic arrived at the dealership late in December and I purchased that one: Graphite Grey Metallic/Neva Grey with Biscaya Blue, Pinnacle Trim, 20" wheels, etc. Love the car - would have loved it more if I didn't pay sales tax - but in CA we pay every tax possible! Seem to be growing availability in NoCal.

Excellent! I am awaiting my RWD EQE 350+ w/Pinnacle Trim, Rear Wheel Steer, and the Airmatic Suspension...

Just signed an EQS450+ yesterday, and echoing off of your observations, the dealer experience was pretty horrid here in New York. Left disappointed, even though a new car purchase should be exciting. Pretty shocked that this appears to be a commonality across Mercedes-Benz storefronts throughout the country. The car is fantastic, though!

Yea it's almost as if we get treated like they don't want our business. It's crazy to think someone who can afford a 100k car is at your business to pay for a product you have why would you treat them poorly? What's the end goal there?

anyway, can you share more about your spec? Did you get dash cam setup and collision photos upload enabled?

Sent you a message to talk more about the dealership experience. Onto more positive matters: Nautical Blue on Neva Grey/Sable Brown Leather, with the AMG Line exterior. Click here for the build link. The bright interior really elevates the experience, and even without the Hyperscreen, the Yacht-design Brown Walnut wood classes everything up. Collision photos have been set up, but the dash cam appears to be an option to be purchased through the app.
