Hi all, i took delivery of a new EQC 400 a couple of weeks ago and I have a regular "top up coolant" warning which I gather is a known issue?

Another issue I have is that my wing mirrors don't seem to de-mist in cold weather. Is there something I should be doing other than putting on the rear window de-mister to make this happen? thanks in advance.

Just to give you an update on my coolant, the Merc dealer checked it today and considered low so have topped it up (no warning message on the way home so hopefully sorted). They also checked for leaks and confirmed there weren’t any.

3 weeks ago and…. Yep today low coolant message popped up
went to local mb dealer (Chichester) they helped me topped up the high pressure coolant system
they said ; might have been airlock … mm hope so
albeit should not happen with a new car below 500 miles on the clock..

Wow. This seems to be quite a consistent story on many EQC's. I wonder if it's the same for anyone with EQE's/EQS's (i.e. the "new platform")?? Perhaps a bit of a selfish question -- as I have plans to order an EQE SUV. Stories like these, along with missing chips and broken promises on post-delivery component installs are giving me pause...

Had my EQC since Sept 2021 with zero issues. When covid and the chip crises arrived it did hit EQC production quite hard ordering now should be better as the car has had its trim levels EQC reduced in advance so to speak ie no Burmester for example.
It is a great car and my best Mercedes’ yet from 5 I have owned all from new. Yes be warned by people reporting issues but it is not every car😉

It might be just air, so don’t let it stop you to get an eqc it’s beautiful to look at and a joy to drive it .

I have the eqs. The dealer topped it off and the low coolant warning came back on after a couple weeks. When I took it back they discovered the leak was inside the rear motor which is not serviceable and had to be replaced. My car was down for three weeks. This happened at month 2 of ownership.
