I have a GLC300e and fully understand the Pre Entry Climate Control but cannot fathom out the Departure Time Setting and what this exactly does. Anyone any ideas?

If you set a departure time, the climate control (heating etc) is supposed to begin before that time so that car cabin temperature is perfect for the departure time. If you expect to leave your house at 11am then set the departure time for 11am and the car should be perfect temperature when you enter car. For example, and depending on model of car such as EQC and how cold it is, the heating should even begin automatically nearly an hour in advance (10:05am) though would likely need to be VERY cold outside.
