strange noise on backing up in EQS

Not sure if my issue is the same one you experienced. Once when switching from D to R in my drive my EQS SUV stopped abruptly. I assumed it was user error and that I accidently bumped the "P" button locking up the wheels.
A few weeks later while backing into a parking spot from the driving aisle I thought someone bumped into me with their car or worse yet that I backed into somebody's car. I got out of the SUV expecting to argue with or apologize to the driver in the other car only to find there were no other vehicles near my SUV.
Afterwards while reading the owner's manual I came across a warning to not press the Park button while in gear. Again I thought that's what may have happened. The Park button should be programmed to do nothing if the vehicle is in motion.
