Voice Recognition for Profile
Maybe you can help me figure this out, when I start my EQE SUV up sometimes I forget to touch the fingerprint for my profile and after a minute it will ask me for Voice Authentication or something like that. What is that and how do I set it up?

I set up the function to automatically set up my profile based on the key used, so if you only have 2 people using the car you don't have to use the fingerprint or voice.

Teaching in the vehicle SmartKey for profile selection
- Select Protect Content.
- Select SmartKey Recognition.
- Have the SmartKey ready and follow the setup assistant's prompts.
The user profile is linked to the selected SmartKey. If you open the vehicle with the SmartKey, the light, mirror and seat settings for your user profile are pre-activated.
The SmartKey you are currently using for unlocking is used.
The SmartKey is only stored for the driver and for one user profile.
strange… that option is not there for my model. just 2 fingerprints and voice recog.It's in the manual, page 302:

fwiw i have 2 actual profiles in the car and an additional one that says “without user profile“
Actually you may be right - I only have one profile and I assumed it is recognized with the key, but I just entered with my other key and it selected my profile anyway - it seems when there is only one, that one is always selected, and the smartkey selection is not available for both of us.
