I drive on Comfort Mode but don’t use air conditioning. I mainly use heated seats, media and lights.
I have just had a 90 mile drive return drive, which was mainly motorway driving and just put on charge and is showing a potential 297 mile change.

My car is on order expected end of July. I currently have an e220d which I run in comfort. I always leave the air con on and will not change that. For day to day use the range is fine for me and I have a 7.2 kw wallbox installed at home so achieving maximum range is not so important but your experience does demonstrate what is possible and counters complaints the cars range is poor. I think it is a matter of driving style, geography and environment ie hilly, town v country, motorways cold or warm, so lots and lots of variables which seem to have more impact than in ICE cars though they do exist for sure. Do you use DAuto or the paddles. One thing I liked on the test drive was the one pedal driving. What is your average kWh per mile?

Hi, yes I always use the paddles and weather temperature makes a big difference along with hills and inclines. When I did get a 291 mile recharge I was getting 3.5 kWh in comfort mode. In general though I can easily reach 3.4 kWh while the hot weather is now.

so that works out at about 272 miles (435km) range for the full use of the 80kwh battery. Looking forward to see how efficient I can be. In normal day to day use 300km will be more than ample so I shall use the air con etc as I do now and on longer journeys I am prepared to charge every time I stop which I do regularly anyway. It is the middling journeys where I anticiapte the need to change my behaviour .it is good to see a more positive report as there are several on here indicating the car does not meet stated spec but your experience and the french forums do indicate it does do so, albeit like all electric vehicles there are circumstances that affect it like the obvious one of the cold.

I’m based in the uk and using the Aircon daily
But still getting up to 258 mile range showing today available. I just use the car mainly for a 30 mile daily commute then back on my drive and connect up to a 7kw charger. Over night. As long as I don’t have to rely on the public charging network I’m happy!

I think that is one of the major points about owning an ev having your own charge point. It then makes day to day life very easy. I had a friend who ran one of the very first Nissan leafs for a commute of about 40 miles and he persuaded his workplace to install a charger for him so he would charge at home then charge whilst at work and he could use the car as a daily even though in those days it was pushing the range a bit. Nowadays the ranges are so much more. I anticipate outside of the main vacances travel days here I will be ok accessing the public chargers they are numerous and the fast charge network on the motorways is growing quickly but it does seem a slower roll out in the U.K. with so many different players. All the local chargers in the towns and villages are local government provided and our local government functions well things work and they accept contactless payment. They are slow though max 22kw and I cannot see them being upgraded to fast chargers that will be left to the market probably as with petrol and diesel the supermarkets will provide them. We shall see.
