Why do I get the rear seat belt warning each time I start the car?

Is this as fault or a safety feature gone mad. Is there any way to switch it off, apart from plugging in the rear seat belts on the empty seats.

I just ignore it and it goes away. It's not a fault

It's a reminder not a fault as Dar said you can ignore it or click to close it. Unfortunately you cant disable it
