My GLE has the option of AMG exterior so it's same color all the way down and around the car, but it seems the EQE SUV will not this option? This would be a fatal design mistake since in my opinion the plastic detail surrounding the car makes the car look “cheap”

Anyone who can comment on this?

My EQS SUV has the DG1 AMG Line Exterior Package with gloss black wheel arches, side skirts and front/rear bumper sections. All of the gloss black areas are at relatively high risk for paint damage from stone chips or parking curbs. I kind of like the idea that these parts can be replaced/repaired and repainted without having to blend into the body color.

I much prefer the gloss black painted trim to the textured black wheel arches and side skirts on my recently traded Taycan CT.

Meh. It's not something I even notice. In fact I have had my current vehicle for over 5 years and couldn't tell you if it has black around the wheels or not.

But for the people who don't want black, painting it is an option.

Exactly. Thats the least of my worries, I'm trying to get in the vehicle buy one asap lol
I drove an EQS SUV as a surrogate to get the feel of the front half of the vehicle and interior.
I'm scheduled to drive an EQE 350+ sedan arriving shortly at the dealer to get the feel of the powertrain.
That should provide enough info for me. Then, I will check the wheel well arches!

How was the EQS SUV ride? From my understanding it's not too much different from what the EQE SUV will be.

We are really off topic for the OP, but there seems to be no one else here....anyway, EQS was very comfortable and pleasing. I have another car as a "toy" so not looking for "performance" from this family car EQE SUV. The front compartment was extremely comfortable and the hyperscreen blew us away. Hope it's available for my build.
