Had a strange issue with windscreen wipers today when driving in heavy rain and lots of spray.
The wipers would only operate for 30 seconds in the desired highest speed mode before switching back to the first auto-mode.
Evey time I changed to another manual mode the wipers would only work at that speed for 30 seconds before slowing right sown again.
This behaviour stopped as soon as soon as I left the motorway and the wipers suddenly stayed at the desired selected speed!

Has anyone else had this or knows what could cause it?

Same issue today, but different model. Can't find anyone else that's posted about this. Did you ever work out what the problem was?

Same problem, even auto mode is not going in fast mode during heavy rain.
