I have a 2023 EQS 450+ and live in Birmingham, AL, US. My parts store just got in 13 of the new charging adaptors for the tesla network and I will be picking up one today. I was told that a software update was needed to charge, but that is not true according to the most recent info from my service advisor. The software update apparently was for allowing plug and charge capability, which is not available as of today. The adaptors work on the Tesla's network, but you must initiate charging from the app (maybe from in the car also?). After you turn on the Tesla charger via the app, then plug in the charging cord into the vehicle. This order is important. According to my service advisor, the software update for plug and charge has been delayed. They issued an instruction sheet (called a quick guide!) detailing the current procedure which is attached. Please post here if you get the plug and charge update on your car so we can all ask for the update at our dealers. Best, Russell

Its on the sheet I posted, but basically you must turn on the charger before you connect the charging line to the car. If you connect first, it wont work. Its a very specific set of actions.
